Vampires: blood and psy vampires origins and abillities

Vampires
Origins:
One of the earliest reference of vampires is the story of the goddess kali,
also known as Kalika which occasionally drinks blood,

The name Kali means "black",Kali is a nocturnal force of nature associated
with death and destruction.
Her temples are located near cremation grounds. She and the goddess
Durga battled the demon Raktabija
who could reproduce himself from each drop of blood spilled. Kali drank
all his blood so none was spilled,
thereby winning the battle and killing him. Other names for Kali were Sara
or the Black Goddess, by the Gypsies.

The name Kali means "black",
Garuda Purana describe her terrible appearance and associate her
with corpses and war.
Bhagavata Purana calls her the patron deity of thieves.
She was worshiped initially by tribals and low-caste Hindus, in
"wild places".
Her temples were built near cremation grounds
or homes of low-caste people (Chndalas).

Vetala:

In Hindu folklore, the vetala is an evil spirit who haunts cemeteries
animating dead's and takes demonic possession of corpses.
They shows displeasure known by making humans lives miserable.
They are very powerful and can drive people mad, kill children,
and cause miscarriages, but also are guardians of villages.

They are hostile spirits of the dead trapped in the 'twilight zone'
between life and reincarnation. One can free them from their ghostly
existence by performing their funerary rites.they are unaffected
by the laws of space and time, they are also wises and they
posess knowledge
about the past, present, and future and a deep insight
into human nature.
Therefore many sorcerers seek to capture them and
turn them into slaves.

Pacu pati:

The Pacu Pati is another powerful vampire from India.
It is seen at night in cemeteries and places of execution

Lamatsu:

In ancient Mesopotamian was worshiped the Lamastu
(also spelled Lamashtu),
a vicious demon goddess who preyed on humans.

Lilith:
The demon Lilith in mesopotamia was a storm demon associated with
wind and an ancient goddess and sorceress. She gives birth
to demons called
the Lilin which to someones are the opposites of heruveim,
and always remain
obedient to their mother.
She and was thought to be a bearer of disease, illness, and death.
The figure of Lilith first appeared in a class of wind and storm demons
or spirits
as Lilitu, in Sumer, circa 4000 BC. She was also a bloodsucker.

Incubi Succubi:
An incubus (plural incubi) is a demon in male form which lie
upon sleepers, especially women, in order to have sex with them,
according to a number of mythological ,folklore and occult traditions.
Its female counterpart is the succubus. An incubus may pursue sexual
relations with a woman in order to father a child, example of such
intercourse is the legend of Merlin,
The incubi and the succubi sucks the victims life force.
Religious tradition holds that repeated intercourse with
an incubus or succubus may result in health issues , or even death.


Blood vampires and Psy(psychical) vampires:
Blood vampires are the common vampires who drink blood.
they take prana (hindu term for the life force)from the blood
according to anciend traditions is a carrier of the life force energy.
according to odyssey of homer. the dead souls which contac
t with blood may take temporarily the form that had in their past life.
The psy vampires:
the psy vampires - usually don't drink blood.
they take life force without harming the psychical body of
their victim (or donner),
some psy vampires are Pranic Vampires which feed
directly on human vital energy.
And some vampires are sucking sexual energy
created by their partners at the time of sex.
